Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our collaborative Payroll team within the People & Organisation department. Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, the successful candidate will manage payroll functions for our Australian stores, ensuring accurate remuneration that complies strictly with taxation laws, awards, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing payroll operations for Australian stores accurately.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant taxation, legislation, and organisational policies.
- Maintaining precise payment records.
Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation.
- Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level.
- Exceptional communication capabilities.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Experience with ADP or UKG Pro payroll systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
