Primary Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, execute, and reconcile the complete payroll process adhering to legal requirements and company guidelines.
- Maintain thorough employee payroll documentation, including records of new hires, terminations, leave balances, and pay adjustments.
- Ensure all payroll practices align with applicable legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, and internal policies.
- Support payroll-related reporting efforts, including PAYG, superannuation, Single Touch Payroll, and annual reporting duties.
- Provide prompt and professional responses to payroll-related employee inquiries, maintaining excellent service standards.
Skills and Experience Requirements
- Demonstrated prior experience in end-to-end payroll processing roles.
- Experience handling high-volume payroll systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation, and employment regulations.
- Strong focus on detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet strict deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for engagement with internal teams and external contacts.
- Capacity to work under pressure independently and adhere to tight timelines.
