Role Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our team at the Surbiton head office. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, this role involves assisting both the Payroll Manager and Payroll Supervisor to ensure accurate and timely payment of all UK and international employees, while maintaining statutory compliance.
Key Duties
- Assist the Payroll Manager with processing UK monthly payrolls.
- Support the Payroll Supervisor in managing global payroll activities.
- Coordinate and liaise with payroll boroughs for outsourced payroll services.
- Prepare and verify monthly broker commission calculations for both UK and international payrolls.
- Conduct online banking transactions via HSBC and manage petty cash.
- Respond to internal queries related to payroll matters promptly.
- Stay updated on legislative changes affecting payroll operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2 years of experience supporting UK or international payroll cycles.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced working environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience collaborating with external payroll providers is advantageous.
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
