About the Role

DHL Supply Chain, a leader in supply chain management, is hiring a Payroll Analyst based in Milton Keynes. This permanent role offers a hybrid working arrangement with two days per week in the office. The position entails a 37.5-hour workweek over five days and includes 25 days of annual leave plus a potential bonus. The primary responsibility is supporting the Central Payroll Team by managing the payroll process, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory payroll regulations across UK operations. The role has an educational component, helping sites handle payroll consistently, accurately, and transparently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and control the CCN process by coordinating with Zellis, operational teams, and central staff, ensuring accurate documentation, review, and timely completion of all related activities.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to payroll queries concerning pay calculations, deductions, sickness payments, and back pay assessments.
  • Handle overpayment escalation queries by validating calculations, addressing legal concerns, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring accurate payroll reporting within deadlines; basic payroll technical expertise required.
  • Assist Central Payroll Team Managers with administrative duties and contribute to pre-payroll processing checks.
  • Manage the application and processing of SDP/OCP requests from sites; oversee off-cycle payment procedures ensuring timely and accurate submission.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite.
  • Prior payroll experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with manual payroll calculations is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in telephone and virtual conferencing communication.
  • Understanding of payroll regulations and statutory legislation.
  • Ability to collect and correlate accurate payroll data effectively.
