About the Role
DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in supply chain management, is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to support and streamline transport scheduling activities at their Bridgwater site. This permanent full-time position involves working 45 hours per week with rotating shift patterns covering weekdays and weekends from 10:45 to 20:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scanning and uploading of customer proof of deliveries, addressing any missing documents or returns promptly.
- Conduct daily briefing and debriefing sessions with drivers.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company Health & Safety policies, reporting any issues immediately to senior management.
- Support all elements of transport operations.
- Use Microlise to monitor driver schedules during their routes and escalate any issues as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a transport operation environment.
- Familiarity with Tachomaster and Microlise systems.
- Good understanding of legal compliance, especially regarding Drivers' working time directives.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
