Pattern Cleaner

Job Overview

This role involves the thorough cleaning and inspection of various soluble core patterns used in manufacturing processes. The position works primarily on first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, based at the Georgetown, Ontario facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repetitive cleaning operations of wax soluble core patterns ensuring detailed attention.
• Inspect all patterns and determine whether parts should be accepted, repaired, or scrapped according to documented procedures.
• Report any abnormalities or trends in scrap rates following established communication protocols.
• Use appropriate tooling such as fixtures and gauges to verify the dimensional accuracy of patterns and molds.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of all necessary materials to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Set up and service small machinery required to complete cleaning and inspection tasks.
• Maintain accurate and required documentation related to cleaning and inspection operations.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as needed and undergo cross-training in various areas within the facility.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks diligently.
• Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
• A dependable and positive attitude, demonstrating punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Physical capability to lift weights between 5 to 10 pounds.

Additional Information

The starting wage for this full-time role is $20 per hour. This opening is to fill a current vacancy in the team. Work schedule follows a day shift Monday through Friday pattern.
