Work Schedule & Location
This is a full-time position working daytime hours at the Rome, Georgia facility located at 501 Redmond Rd NW, postal code 30165.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day foodservice activities including café, patient meal services, and sanitation to ensure meals are delivered promptly, environments are clean, and service standards are upheld.
- Participate in food and beverage preparation, cold item preparation, assembling trays, and delivering meals to patients, adjusting to changing operational needs.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety by monitoring sanitation procedures, organizing workspaces, and guaranteeing adherence to health regulations.
- Interact with patients and café guests by conducting rounds to collect feedback, solving issues, and maintaining satisfaction regarding food quality and customer service.
- Provide support and leadership to team members by communicating with supervisors, facilitating onboarding processes, and fostering a cooperative and service-oriented work environment.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Basic mathematical ability is necessary.
- Must be proficient in English for reading, writing, and understanding instructions.
- Strong communication skills in English are required.
- Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Holding a Certified Food Safety Manager (CFSM) certification is preferred.

Compensation
The pay range varies between $13.90 and $22.24 per hour.
