About the Role
At Roche, the Patient Journey Partner (PJP) serves as a pivotal local leader driving patient-centered healthcare transformation by engaging with multiple stakeholders within the ecosystem. This role intentionally forgoes traditional sales goals to focus purely on accelerating improved health outcomes through collaboration, bringing Roche's scientific expertise and knowledge to the forefront.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners to uncover and develop opportunities for enhancing patient outcomes quickly and effectively.
- Serve as a trusted primary contact between Roche and stakeholders, communicating community needs internally, prioritizing resources, and advancing impactful solutions.
- Work alongside patient journey stakeholders to identify and eliminate barriers, unlocking new possibilities to benefit patients and communities.
- Support and steward Roche’s products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they are appropriately used by providing clear and balanced information to healthcare professionals.
- Adopt a systems-thinking approach to oversee the entire patient journey, fostering shared purpose and co-creating solutions with ecosystem stakeholders.
- Mobilize expertise and resources both locally and from the wider network, including collaboration with fellow PJPs.
- Ensure exceptional interactions whenever stakeholders engage with Roche's employees, products, or services.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Pharmacy or another relevant discipline; advanced degrees like Life Sciences or MBA are advantageous. Completion of the CCXA Academy is desirable.
- Proven stakeholder engagement capabilities, including collaboration with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) and organizations; experience partnering with Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams, with experience in strategy formulation and team orchestration highly valued.
- Strong commercial acumen encompassing aspects of commercialization, medical affairs, and delivering superior customer experiences.
- In-depth knowledge of patient journeys and treatments within specific disease areas to engage effectively at specialist levels.
- Comprehensive understanding of Roche's current portfolio and upcoming pipeline to facilitate future-oriented solutions.
- Sound expertise in medical affairs strategies and tactics, including clinical research.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken.
