Passenger Coordinator / Bus Captain

About the Role

We are hiring for the position of Bus Captain / Travel Executive at a well-known Smart Bus company, located primarily in Mumbai with openings also in Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Pune, Kolhapur, Gurugram (Delhi), and Bangalore. This role involves direct passenger interaction and hospitality services but does not include driving or cleaning responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Accompany approximately 40 passengers on long-distance night trips, verifying their online ticket bookings with valid ID proofs.
• Ensure passenger comfort aboard AC Smart Buses equipped with amenities such as Wi-Fi, GPS, and toilets.
• Manage on-the-spot ticket bookings and actively promote discounted return journey tickets to enhance sales, earning performance incentives.
• Collect passenger feedback, ratings, and reviews to improve service quality, with incentives provided for gathering this information.
• Coordinate closely with drivers, cleaning teams, and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain precise daily records of bookings and incentives earned.

Shift and Work Schedule

This is a full-time, permanent night shift role. Shifts start between 7 PM and 11 PM and last for approximately 12 to 14 hours, covering a round trip travel pattern of about 6 hours outbound journey and 6 hours return. Weekly days off vary according to journey duration:

• Less than 13 hours: one day off after every 6 working days
• 13–15 hours: one day off after every 3 working days
• 15–17 hours: one day off after every 2 working days
• More than 17 hours: alternate day off (1 day work, 1 day off)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Male candidates aged between 19 and 33 years.
• Educational qualifications ranging from Diploma, Intermediate, Degree to Post-Graduate.
• Proficient in Hindi and basic English language skills.
• Demonstrated skills in customer service, hospitality, sales, and persuasive communication.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays without constraints.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 for freshers and experienced candidates.
