Job description
Position Overview
Vinperk Solutions invites applications for the role of Passenger Coordinator, also referred to as Captain or Hospitality Executive, responsible for passenger coordination during journeys on a reputed smart bus service. This role is based in Nagercoil, Kerala, with openings in Chennai, Tanjore, Madurai, and Thirunelveli as well. Candidates must be male and fluent in Tamil, with basic English communication skills.
Work Schedule and Duties
The position involves night shifts starting from 7:00 PM, with departures daily and work shifts lasting approximately 12 to 14 hours. For example, the journey may start at 10 PM from Nagercoil, travel halfway towards Hyderabad or Chennai with a bus switch at a common point, and return to Nagercoil by 10 to 11 AM the following morning.
- Ensure passenger comfort and hospitality throughout the trip.
- Travel with approximately 40 passengers who have booked tickets through online portals such as RedBus.
- Verify tickets and assist passengers during boarding.
- Offer onboard amenities such as Wi-Fi, GPS access, and drinking water.
- Promote discounted return journey tickets to earn incentives.
- Collect passenger feedback, reviews, and ratings, with incentives provided.
- Manage spot booking of tickets onboard the bus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary for freshers starts at ₹17,000 per month; experienced candidates may earn between ₹18,000 and ₹22,000 per month.
- Additional incentives and bonuses totaling ₹12,000 paid in installments after completing 2, 4, and 6 months respectively.
- Free dinner during journeys departing between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM at premium restaurants located at city outskirts.
- Insurance coverage provided.
Candidate Requirements
- Male applicants aged between 19 and 35 years.
- Educational qualifications: ITI, Diploma, Intermediate, or any degree.
- Experience ranging from 3 months to 6 years in fields such as sales, customer service, customer support, hospitality, front office, administration, guest relations, tours, hotels, or supervisory roles.
Documentation and Application
