We are seeking an Automotive Parts Advisor to join Steele Ford Lincoln, a role that extends beyond traditional parts advisor tasks.
Job Overview
This role involves supporting both front and back counters of the Parts Department, assisting retail customers, technicians, and internal departments. You'll gain hands-on experience managing inventory, shipping and receiving, warranty processing, returns, special orders, administrative tasks, and daily dealership operations. Whether you have automotive experience or a keen interest in vehicles, this is an opportunity to start and develop your automotive career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers and technicians at both front and back parts counters.
- Receive and verify incoming parts shipments, including shipment documentation and invoices.
- Organize, stock, and accurately maintain the inventory records of parts.
- Perform bin counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Handle manufacturer and supplier returns, warranty parts, and associated paperwork.
- Manage special orders, follow-ups on returns, and coordinate parts to support ongoing repairs.
- Support parts-related administrative duties and computer systems.
- Coordinate movement of parts among Parts, Service, Body Shop, and customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient Parts Department environment.
- Provide assistance wherever needed to ensure dealership operations run smoothly.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.20 to $22.05.
