Team Overview
Joining the Partner Solutions Architecture (PSA) team, you will offer technical expertise to Stripe partners, helping accelerate growth through collaboration, education, and empowerment. As a vital technical interface for Partner Development Managers, you will design comprehensive technical business strategies that identify, incubate, and launch service or solution offerings built on Stripe.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with strategic partners to enhance their Stripe capabilities and create solutions driving mutual growth, particularly in the AUNZ market.
- Develop and implement partner enablement programs to facilitate knowledge transfer and capacity building.
- Lead technical discussions with partners, illustrating how Stripe's technologies can deliver client value through detailed solution evaluations.
- Engage with executive technical leaders such as CTOs and engineering leads at partner organizations to align on technology roadmaps and innovation strategies.
- Provide updates on successes and progress internally through quarterly business reviews and similar forums.
- Support partners during sales processes, ensuring cooperation yields successful joint deals.
- Educate Stripe’s sales teams on partner solutions and capabilities to maximize collaborative effectiveness.
- Advocate for key partners within sales regions, identifying new avenues for cooperation and revenue growth.
- Represent Stripe in industry webinars and conferences related to finance and AI sectors, showcasing thought leadership.
- Create technical content such as sample code and demos that guide partners in implementing Stripe-based solutions and best practices.
- Gather and convey partner feedback to Stripe teams to enhance product offerings and support.
Candidate Profile
- At least 8 years in client-facing technical roles like solutions architect, sales engineer, or consultant within global software companies.
- Experience engaging customers and partners, including Global System Integrators (GSI) and System Integrators (SI) in the Australia-New Zealand region.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility among senior stakeholders.
- Effective facilitation skills for group discussions and leading meetings aimed at strategic alignment and opportunity pursuit.
- Advanced familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, including domains such as agentic commerce and intelligent agents.
- In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles and API design principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Ability to master Stripe product suite, including Payments, Billing, and Connect.
- Understanding of enterprise software ecosystems encompassing ERP, CRM, Billing, Tax, and legacy applications integration.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple strategic initiatives concurrently.
- Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and resilience when facing challenges.
Work Arrangement
Employees are expected to spend at least half of their working time each month at the local office or interacting directly with users, subject to team or location-specific variations. This model balances in-person collaboration and flexible work.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this role in Melbourne ranges between AUD 293,500 and AUD 440,300 annually. This figure may fluctuate based on location and includes base pay and potential sales commissions or bonuses.
