Overview
Enjoy your evenings off again by joining Ryman Healthcare as a Part Time Chef at Possum Bourne Retirement Village in Pukekohe, New Zealand. As part of the Ryman Food Experience, you will contribute to creating nourishing, culturally respectful meals that enhance the well-being and happiness of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dining experiences "good enough for mum".
- Provide backing coverage for the Senior Lead Chef during their days off.
- Prepare diverse, flavorful, nutritious meals based on seasonal menus.
- Accommodate various dietary requirements of residents.
- Assist in preparing specialty dishes for fine dining occasions and special events.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards in the kitchen.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a New Zealand Certificate in Cookery, Level 3.
- Have proven experience in a chef role including kitchen leadership and team management.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrate reliability, friendliness, and professionalism.
