Role Summary

Join Parcelforce Worldwide as a Collection & Delivery Driver based at our Solent depot in Fareham. This permanent role involves delivering and collecting parcels efficiently while offering excellent customer service.

Work Schedule and Location

• Full-time position with 38 hours per week and opportunities for overtime.
• Typical shifts cover four days a week between Monday and Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Shift patterns will be discussed during the interview and require flexibility to meet business needs.
• Work location: Kites Croft Business Park, Fareham, PO14 4LW.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary of £25,201 annually (£12.71 per hour).
• Salary increases to £27,561 annually (£13.94 per hour) after six months.
• Potential to earn up to £30,000 annually based on 38 hours per week including overtime.
• Weekend premium pay: additional £4.39 for Saturdays and £6.58 for Sundays on contracted hours.
• Paid overtime on weekdays and weekends.
• Additional allowances include a monthly non-pensionable bonus (£903.84 yearly) and weekly driving allowance (£26.73 per week).

Job Responsibilities

• Sort parcels and create efficient delivery routings.
• Perform essential vehicle safety inspections.
• Collect and deliver parcels to residential and business addresses in a timely manner.
• Maintain a friendly and dependable service to customers, handling all deliveries with care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must have a full manual UK driving licence (Category B, up to 3.5 tonnes) registered at current address with not more than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30 kg.
• A friendly, reliable and customer-focused attitude.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
