Job Responsibilities

• Execute painting and touch-up tasks across buildings and facility areas.
• Prepare various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, doors, and windows by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying putty and primer before painting.
• Apply different paint types like emulsion, enamel, and texture on interiors and exteriors.
• Detect and report surface issues like cracks, peeling paint, and dampness.
• Mix paints, primers, and related materials following specific formulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of painting tools and equipment including brushes, rollers, and spray devices.
• Complete painting assignments according to schedule while ensuring quality finishes and reduced material waste.
• Uphold safety procedures including use of PPE and precautions when working at heights.
• Coordinate daily work tasks with supervisors or engineers and maintain good housekeeping at work sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic educational qualification: 8th or 10th-grade pass preferred.
• Preferably 13 years of relevant painting experience.
• Proficient knowledge in various painting and surface preparation techniques.
• Experience handling different paints, finishes, and painting tools.
• Strong attention to detail to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Ability to work safely at heights when necessary.
• Good teamwork capabilities and discipline in workplace behavior.
