Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Bardez involves preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paints and coatings to interior and exterior areas, and achieving high-quality finishes. Daily duties include repairing and patching walls, ceilings, and fixtures, performing spray painting as needed, and properly maintaining painting tools and equipment. The Painter must observe safety protocols, comply with hotel standards, coordinate effectively with maintenance and housekeeping teams to minimize guest disruption, perform regular inspections of painted surfaces, and conduct timely touch-ups to maintain visual appeal.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in paint application, painting techniques, and spray painting for both indoor and outdoor surfaces.
• Skilled in painting and decorating to ensure visually appealing finishes with great attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable about coatings, including surface preparation and choosing suitable materials for long-lasting durability.
• Experience as a painter in hospitality, residential, or commercial environments is preferred.
• Capable of interpreting work orders, following safety rules, and understanding basic technical instructions.
• Strong focus on detail, effective time management, and the ability to work independently or within a team.
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and work at heights safely using appropriate equipment.
• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is helpful; vocational training or certification related to painting or similar trades is advantageous.
