Painter

Job Description

You will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and various finishes to walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers. This includes preparing surfaces with primers or sealers, removing old coatings through stripping, sanding, or abrasive methods, and protecting surfaces during painting by covering them appropriately. You will also manage cleanup and store painting materials and equipment properly. Coordination with vendors for color modifications of paint, stain, or varnish is part of your role.

Safety and Conduct

Adherence to all company safety and security policies is essential. You must report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries and complete all necessary safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional and clean personal appearance, uphold confidentiality regarding proprietary information, and safeguard company assets. You will also be expected to greet guests warmly, address their needs with care, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate clearly and professionally.

Physical Requirements

The job demands physical activities such as reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, using ladders, and handling objects up to 50 pounds independently. Continuous standing, sitting, or walking may be required during your work shift.

Additional Duties

Supporting team objectives, maintaining quality standards, and performing other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors are all part of the role.

Qualifications

A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred along with at least one year of related experience. No prior supervisory experience or licenses are required.
