Role Overview

We are looking for a committed Paint Technician to join our team full-time at our Doha facility. The role involves comprehensive surface preparation for vehicles and yachts, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and application of primers to guarantee excellent adhesion and finish standards.

The technician will be responsible for mixing and matching paints following manufacturer guidelines, applying coatings with the appropriate tools, conducting necessary refinishing and touch-ups, and performing detailed visual and measurement evaluations to ensure flawless finishes. The position requires coordination with body shops and collision repair teams to meet project deadlines.

Daily activities also include maintaining a tidy and safe workspace, adhering strictly to safety and material handling procedures, as well as documenting materials usage and work progress accurately.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in paint application techniques including surface preparation, color matching, and application.
• Experienced in quality control methods to inspect finishes, recognize flaws, and uphold company and industry standards.
• Familiar with body shop operations and able to effectively collaborate with technicians and repair teams.
• Knowledgeable of collision repair settings, post-repair refinishing needs, and safety protocols.
• Previous painting experience in automotive or marine environments, preferably in workshops or industrial contexts.
• Competent at reading and interpreting technical datasheets, safety instructions, and product guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail, manual skill, and ability to remain standing for long durations in industrial settings.
• Basic awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations concerning paints, solvents, and spraying equipment.
• Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive refinishing or industrial painting is advantageous.
• Capable of working cohesively within a diverse team, maintaining clear communication with supervisors and coworkers.
