Role Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by eliminating grease, dirt, paint, or rust using tools such as abrasives, solvents, brushes, sandblasters, washing tanks, or blowtorches to ensure readiness for painting applications.
- Support painters in managing pre-paint blending requirements for seamless finish results.
- Collaborate effectively with the paint crew to maintain production schedules and ensure timely vehicle deliveries.
- Apply body fillers to minor dents or scratches and smooth the surfaces ahead of painting.
- Perform buffing and waxing on completed paintwork to enhance appearance and protection.
- Take apart, clean, and reassemble paint sprayers and power tools, employing solvents, wire brushes, and cloths as part of maintenance and cleaning duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience prior in vehicle paint preparation processes.
- I-CAR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work cooperatively within a team environment.
- Must successfully complete a detailed background check.

This position offers competitive pay based on knowledge, experience, certifications, and skills. The payment is structured on a commission/flag rate basis, which guarantees a minimum wage compliance for all hours worked weekly. Average annual compensation ranges between USD 49,240 and USD 100,000. Benefits and pay details are subject to changes by the company at any time, adhering to relevant laws.
