Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by eliminating grease, dirt, old paint, or rust using abrasives, solvents, brushes, blowtorches, washing tanks, or sandblasting equipment.
• Support the painter by assisting with paint blending before application.
• Collaborate with the paint team to ensure vehicles remain on schedule for timely delivery.
• Repair minor dents or scratches by applying body fillers and smoothing surfaces ahead of painting.
• Perform buffing and waxing to perfect the paint finish.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power tools, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for maintenance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in vehicle paint preparation processes is required.
• I-CAR certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.

Additional Information

Crash Champions offers a competitive compensation package based on your expertise, certifications, and relevant experience. This role is compensated through a commission/flag rate system, with guaranteed pay meeting local minimum wage standards for all hours worked weekly. The typical annual salary range for this position is between $40,440 and $100,000. Note that compensation and benefit offerings are subject to change in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
