Role Overview

This position is based in Chennai and requires 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on managing PagerDuty integration and incident response lifecycle within an operational setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate PagerDuty with various monitoring solutions including Dynatrace, SevOne, Prometheus, Datadog, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Enhance alert management by implementing noise reduction strategies such as alert deduplication, threshold tuning, and suppression techniques.
• Oversee the entire incident management process from detection through response and resolution to post-incident activities.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Network Operations Center (NOC), and application teams to coordinate incident responses.
• Develop and update comprehensive runbooks and playbooks for efficient incident handling procedures.
• Lead post-incident reviews and prepare root cause analysis documentation to identify improvement areas.
• Automate incident management processes leveraging PagerDuty APIs.
• Track and monitor compliance with service level agreements (SLA), service level indicators (SLI), and service level objectives (SLO), alongside performance metrics to maintain service reliability.
• Ensure maximum system uptime and robustness through proactive management and continuous improvement activities.
