Packing Operative

Overview

We invite enthusiastic and dependable individuals to become Packing Operatives with Fourdot Affinity Ltd. This role involves handling products for four vibrant brands using onsite equipment to ensure secure and punctual dispatch of orders, maintaining high quality at all times. The position offers a 37.5 hour workweek and a wage of £13.03 per hour, with additional overtime pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pack a variety of products with the aid of different tools and machinery.
• Uphold cleanliness, safety, and organization in the workspace.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Achieve or surpass daily packing targets as assigned by supervisors.
• Innovate tailored packaging approaches for new product introductions.
• Take full responsibility for assigned duties and aid in collective team success.
• Propose improvements and share effective operational techniques.
• Ensure proper segregation and recycling of waste materials.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience within a production or factory setting is necessary.
• Confidence and capability in operating tools and equipment safely.
• Strong skills in independent problem solving.
• Ability to juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Diligent with keen attention to detail and a proactive mindset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate of £13.03 with overtime paid at 1.5 times regular wage.
• Contracted 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
