Packing Associate

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-driven Packing Associate to efficiently prepare orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will carefully examine products, pack them securely, apply shipment labels, and contribute to maintaining an orderly and safe warehouse or production space.

Key Duties

• Package products accurately in compliance with customer orders and company protocols.
• Inspect each item for quality, correctness, and damages prior to packing.
• Choose proper boxes and protective materials to ensure safe delivery.
• Attach shipping labels, barcodes, and all necessary paperwork.
• Verify quantities and order details accurately.
• Seal, sort, and prepare packages for shipment.
• Use packing machinery safely, where applicable.
• Maintain detailed records of packing activities and inventory.
• Keep the workspace tidy, organized, and free of safety risks.
• Consistently meet daily goals for productivity, precision, and quality.
• Report any defective products, missing items, or order inconsistencies.
• Uphold company rules and health and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in packing, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or order fulfillment is advantageous.
• Strong focus on detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
• Good organizational abilities and time management skills.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and vigilant about safety.
• Basic literacy and communication proficiency.
• Physical ability to stand for extended durations and lift packages as necessary.

Work Environment and Conditions

• Fast-moving warehouse, distribution, or production settings.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching tasks.
• Required to lift and transport packages.
• Work may include shifts during weekends, holidays, and overtime.
