Job Description - Packer

Location: Norcross, GA

Pay Range: $17.34 to $18.86 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential on the 3rd shift.

Primary Duties

• Inspect and package products according to specific customer requirements while observing safe work practices.
• Report any product quality issues to the operator and assist in resolving them.
• Accurately complete daily paperwork and understand related documentation.
• Prepare the workspace by setting up materials as outlined in work orders and restock supplies as necessary.
• Help the operator during setup or changeover processes as requested.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and keep equipment in good condition.
• Perform assigned tasks in adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Participate actively in safety programs.
• Support team members as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned or needed.

Candidate Qualifications

• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Must work well cooperatively within a team.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Capable of standing for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds.
• Basic English reading and comprehension skills are necessary.
