Position Overview

The Overnight Associate plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service by efficiently managing tasks related to receiving and moving merchandise to the sales floor during overnight hours. Responsibilities include unloading trailers, transporting pallets, and processing merchandise, all carried out while maintaining a safe and clean workspace. This role emphasizes collaboration as part of a team that prioritizes workload planning and smooth operational flow.

Key Duties

• Prepare the sales floor before store opening.
• Set up merchandise displays, including merchandising and signage for featured products.
• Carry out live unloading and handling of different types of merchandise.
• Focus on labeling and organizing merchandise in backroom bins for overnight stocking, distinguishing this role from day or evening fulfillment.
• Pull pallets between the stockroom and sales floor for overnight processing.
• Assist in stocking the sales floor as directed, providing customer assistance when needed.
• Ensure labeling of sales floor areas is complete for the next day's store opening.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment by following company policies, completing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for the position is $15.50.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
