Overnight Associate

Position Overview

This role involves supporting customer service and ensuring smooth merchandise flow from receiving to sales floor presentation. Key tasks include unloading trailers, organizing stock, and assisting with merchandise processing, all while maintaining a safe and orderly environment. The Associate collaborates with team members to prioritize and complete tasks based on workload and operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the sales floor before store opening.
• Set up merchandising displays and signage for featured products.
• Carry out live unloading of a variety of merchandise types.
• Emphasize labelling and organization of merchandise in backroom bins and stock areas, which is a distinguishing feature of this overnight shift compared to day/evening roles.
• Manage the movement of pallets to and from the sales floor during overnight shifts.
• Assist with restocking sales floor inventory and deliver customer service support as needed.
• Label the sales floor in preparation for store opening activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace by following company policies and procedures, performing safety sweep logs, and securing displays and fixtures properly.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.90 CAD.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 years or older.
