About the Role
This position involves supporting customer service by carrying out assigned duties related to receiving and managing merchandise flow to the sales floor. Tasks include unloading shipments, moving pallets onto the sales floor, labeling, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role operates as part of a team, planning and executing tasks according to workload and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the sales floor before store opening
- Set up, merchandise, and label promotional features
- Unload incoming merchandise live during shift
- Focus on labeling and organizing merchandise within backroom bins and stocking areas, distinguishing this role from day/evening fulfillment positions
- Transfer pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor overnight for processing
- Stock sales floor as needed and assist customers when required
- Label sales floor inventory in preparation for store opening
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by following company policies and completing safety sweep logs; ensure displays and fixtures are secure
Compensation
The minimum hourly wage for this role starts at $15.50 CAD.
