Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter (OTC) Associate plays a crucial role in assisting customers, organizing their designated department area, executing tasks assigned by the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager, and ensuring that product displays and promotional features are well maintained. This role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service in alignment with Walmart's core principles and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of patient information strictly following Privacy Act regulations.
• Work under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager to increase department sales and profitability.
• Ensure stock is properly rotated and monitor product expiration dates.
• Efficiently organize and zone the OTC department space.
• Adhere to established protocols for ordering, clearance, price adjustments, and product labeling.
• Keep the OTC department clean and free from clutter, debris, unwanted items, and fluids.
• Maintain accuracy in pricing with zero errors, complying with the Scanning Credibility Program.
• Perform calibration of equipment associated with the prescription-filling process.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
