Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter Associate plays a crucial role in assisting customers effectively and organizing their designated department area. This role involves completing delegated tasks under the supervision of the OTC or Pharmacy Manager, ensuring the department is neatly zoned and product displays are well maintained, all while consistently delivering excellent customer service aligned with Walmart's core values and Basic Beliefs.

Key Duties

• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with the Privacy Act.
• Drive department sales and profitability as directed by the Pharmacy Manager.
• Regularly rotate inventory and monitor for expired items.
• Systematically organize and zone the department for optimal presentation.
• Adhere to procedures concerning product ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, marking, labeling, and signature protocols.
• Ensure the department remains clean, free from clutter, hazardous debris, fixtures, foreign objects, and spills.
• Maintain accuracy in pricing, eliminating scanning errors in line with the Scanning Credibility Program.
• Calibrate equipment used in prescription fulfillment to uphold operational standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
