Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter (OTC) Associate will support customers by providing helpful service and ensuring their designated area is well organized and presented. Reporting to the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager, the associate carries out duties including zoning, product stocking, and maintaining excellent customer interactions aligned with Walmart's core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard patient information following the Privacy Act regulations.
• Work with management to boost sales and profitability in the OTC department.
• Carry out stock rotation and verify product expiration dates routinely.
• Keep the OTC department orderly by zoning and cleaning regularly.
• Adhere strictly to ordering procedures, clearance processes, price markings, and accurate labeling of merchandise.
• Ensure the work area stays neat, free from unnecessary clutter, debris, or hazards.
• Maintain absolute accuracy in pricing to avoid scanning errors using the credibility program.
• Perform calibration tasks on equipment utilized in prescription dispensing procedures.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
