Otolaryngologist

Position Overview

We are looking for a proficient and experienced Otolaryngologist (ENT Surgeon) to deliver thorough diagnostic, medical, and surgical services to both adult and pediatric patients. The candidate will address a diverse array of ear, nose, throat disorders and execute ENT surgeries adhering to Dubai Health Authority (DHA) standards, hospital protocols, and global clinical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed ENT assessments, including consultations, examinations, diagnoses, and planning of treatments.
• Manage ENT diseases affecting adults and children, such as sinusitis, nasal blockages, tonsil and adenoid issues, hearing impairments, vertigo, tinnitus, voice irregularities, as well as head and neck pathologies.
• Conduct suitable ENT surgical interventions.
• Oversee pre-surgical evaluations and post-surgical follow-up care.
• Analyze results from audiology tests, endoscopic procedures, imaging studies, lab tests, and vestibular evaluations.
• Ensure meticulous and prompt documentation of patient information.
• Work collaboratively with specialists including audiologists, speech therapists, anesthetists, radiologists, oncologists, and pediatricians.
• Engage in initiatives for quality enhancement, clinical audits, multidisciplinary collaborations, and continual professional development.
• Adhere strictly to DHA regulations, infection control protocols, patient safety mandates, and uphold professional ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree equivalent to MBBS/MBChB.
• Accredited postgraduate certification in Otolaryngology or ENT Surgery.
• Valid practicing license issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
• At least five years of professional experience working within the UAE healthcare sector.
• Preference given to Western nationals.
