OT Scrub Nurse

Position Overview

We are looking to recruit a skilled OT Scrub Nurse in Ahmedabad with prior experience in operating theater assistance. The role involves comprehensive support to surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth operative procedures.

Key Duties

• Support surgeons and the operating theater (OT) team during surgical operations.
• Prepare and maintain the OT environment before, during, and after each surgery.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and consumables are sterilized and available.
• Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
• Conduct accurate instrument and sponge counts to maintain safety.
• Anticipate surgeons' needs and promptly provide instruments.
• Maintain detailed records, checklists, and manage inventory within the OT.
• Handle biomedical waste in compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, and OT staff to coordinate activities.

Candidate Profile

• Strong understanding of surgical instruments, sterilization, and OT procedures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Capability to efficiently operate in a dynamic hospital setting.
• Experience as an OT/Scrub Nurse is preferred.

Compensation

Monthly salary ranges from ₹25,000 to ₹30,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a qualification in GNM or B.Sc. Nursing.
