Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and adaptable Organizational Development Manager to spearhead significant organizational change and transformation efforts across the Group. This role demands a leader comfortable with fast-paced, demanding environments, capable of managing multiple senior stakeholders and converting business needs into actionable developmental strategies.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead extensive organizational transformation and change management initiatives throughout the Group.
- Design and implement business structures that enhance growth, efficiency, and scalability.
- Oversee restructuring, role redesign, workforce optimization, and improvements in organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of organizational modifications.
- Identify organizational inefficiencies and structural issues and propose practical remedies.
- Manage transformation projects from initial assessment through to implementation and stabilization phases.
- Maintain and develop organizational design elements including reporting structures, spans of control, and governance frameworks.
- Direct job analysis, evaluation, creation of job descriptions, career levels, and grading systems.
- Clarify roles, responsibilities, decision-making powers, and interdepartmental interfaces.
- Assist leaders in crafting effective, scalable operating models.
- Lead advancement of performance management systems, competency frameworks, KPIs, and role-specific performance expectations.
- Support strategic workforce planning and identify future capability needs.
- Analyze workforce metrics such as headcount, productivity, and capacity to inform staffing strategies.
- Facilitate succession planning, talent reviews, career pathing, and leadership development initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with senior executives, business heads, and Human Capital leaders to guide organizational discussions and navigate resistance to change.
- Conduct workshops, organizational assessments, and transformation dialogues with leadership.
- Utilize organizational data and HR analytics to detect trends, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Develop dashboards and reports tracking workforce effectiveness, organizational health, productivity, and transformation progress.
- Benchmark against leading companies and continually refine OD frameworks, policies, processes, and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Engineering, Management, or related fields.
- More than 7 years’ relevant experience in Organizational Development, Effectiveness, HR Transformation, or comparable areas.
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale organizational transformation and change management projects.
- Expertise in organization design, restructuring, job architecture, competency frameworks, and workforce planning.
- Experience within large corporations, retail, consulting, or rapidly growing businesses highly desirable.
- Proven capability in engaging with senior leadership and executives.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, Prosci, or Change Management preferred.
