Join a sizable and intricate public sector organisation providing vital services throughout New Zealand. You will be part of a collaborative technology and finance team supporting key enterprise systems for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation.

Your New Role

Serving as an Oracle EPM Planning Cloud Functional Consultant, you will deliver onsite functional and application support for the organisation's Oracle EPM environment, focusing primarily on Oracle EPBCS / Planning Cloud and Oracle ARCS. Your duties include:

• Offering functional support, resolving issues, and implementing improvements for Oracle EPBCS and ARCS
• Translating business needs into effective Oracle EPM solutions
• Managing configuration and upkeep of metadata, dimensions, planning forms, dashboards, reports, business rules, and security settings
• Facilitating budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, reconciliation, and financial planning workflows
• Maintaining and troubleshooting EPM data integrations and automated workflows
• Supporting various testing phases including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, as well as deployments and subsequent validation
• Keeping abreast of Oracle monthly updates and evaluating their potential impact on applications or business operations
• Handling service requests and Jira tasks while actively monitoring risks, issues, and dependencies

Qualifications and Skills Needed

• Solid functional expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud implementation and ongoing application support
• Practical knowledge and use of Oracle EPBCS / Planning Cloud and Oracle ARCS platforms
• Thorough understanding of financial processes such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, management reporting, and month-end activities
• Experience with EPM modules like Data Management, Data Integration, Data Exchange, Calculation Manager, Smart View, and EPM Automate
• Familiarity with business rules, planning forms, dashboards, reporting tools, valid intersections, and security configuration
• Capability in supporting Oracle EPM and ERP system integrations
• Skill in performing impact analysis, estimating effort, documenting solutions, conducting tests, managing deployments, and providing production support
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently onsite while efficiently managing multiple priorities

Additional advantages include experience in public sector or large enterprise finance environments, Oracle EPM Cloud certifications, familiarity with Agile methodologies, or knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials.

Additional Information

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in New Zealand. The primary work location is onsite in Wellington, with openness to other locations.
