Oracle EBS Finance Consultant

Overview

Clover Infotech, a premier IT services and consulting firm with over 25 years of transformational success across global enterprises, is looking for a seasoned Oracle EBS Finance Consultant. The role is based at their Head Office in Thane, India and demands 6+ years of direct experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, especially with hands-on functional expertise in Oracle Finance modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, examine, and document business requirements pertinent to Oracle EBS Financial modules.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Oracle EBS Finance systems.
• Design functional solutions and collaborate with technical teams for custom development.
• Execute fit-gap analyses and advocate for Oracle best practices.
• Support critical financial operations including month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee problem resolution, root cause analyses, and offer end-user support.
• Create functional specifications, test cases, and training content for users.
• Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project deliveries.
• Engage in application upgrades, patch validations, and change management procedures.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls, accounting standards, and company policies.

Mandatory Skills & Expertise

• In-depth functional experience in Oracle Financial modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Cash Management (CM).
• Proficient in financial reporting within Oracle EBS environment.

Highly Preferred Skills

• Subledger Accounting (SLA): Knowledge of SLA framework and accounting methodologies, ability to configure Accounting Methods Builder (AMB), troubleshoot journal generation issues, and manage accounting events and rules.
• Project Billing and Project Accounting: Functional expertise in Oracle Projects (PA), managing project costs and revenue recognition, project billing setup and invoicing, and integration with Financial modules.
• Fixed Assets (FA): Proficiency in asset lifecycle management including additions, retirements, transfers, adjustments, depreciation configuration and processing, asset capitalization, and FA integration with AP and GL.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• Oracle Financials certification is advantageous.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and financial business workflows.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position located at the Thane head office. Candidates should hold any graduate degree. Remuneration ranges from 700000 to 1300000 INR annually.
