Job description
Role Overview
This position involves supporting and enhancing Oracle Hyperion solutions focused on enterprise performance management. The consultant will collaborate with business users to translate requirements around planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting into effective functional setups and dependable processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze business needs related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and management reporting, tailored to client requirements.
- Configure and maintain Oracle Hyperion applications, including business rules, forms, metadata, dimensions, and workflows aligned with approved specifications.
- Assist with application upgrades, user acceptance testing, resolving defects, and release management tasks.
- Investigate incidents and service requests, identify root causes, and coordinate with technical teams to implement solutions.
- Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, testing scenarios, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to enhance data accuracy, process controls, and reporting quality.
- Provide user training, facilitate knowledge transfer, and offer continuous application support.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 7 years of practical Hyperion functional consulting experience.
- Direct experience working with Oracle Hyperion EPM products relevant to the client’s system; candidates must specify exact products and versions.
- Deep understanding of processes related to planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience conducting requirements workshops, functional configuration, testing, documentation, and live system support.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Having Oracle/Hyperion certifications is considered an advantage.
