Oracle Application Technical Consultant

Role Summary

This position involves delivering technical development and providing support for Oracle E-Business Suite ERP and associated systems. Key responsibilities include designing technical solutions, managing escalated incident support, and hands-on work with Oracle interfaces and Oracle Reports, including BI Publisher.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute development and maintenance tasks for Oracle EBS ERP applications.
• Create and document comprehensive technical solution designs for the relevant systems and applications.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle interfaces and reports, including BI Publisher.
• Offer technical support for escalated incidents and service requests by investigating root causes and implementing corrective measures.
• Assist with enhancements, testing, deployment, data migration, and documentation of technical processes.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, users, DBAs, and other teams involved in delivery.
• Identify and integrate AI/ML capabilities within ERP platforms for automation and predictive analytics when applicable.

Required Skills and Experience

• Preferably hold certification related to Oracle ERP platforms.
• Have at least 6 years of technical experience with Oracle ERP platforms, with preference for candidates possessing 7 or more years for this senior role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle EBS technologies, focusing on interfaces and Oracle Reports/BI Publisher.
• Proven ability to design technical solutions and manage escalated issues in applications.
• Experienced in development, testing, migrations, and support for production environments.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, technical documentation, and effective stakeholder communication.
