About the Role and Company

Join Specsavers at our Bega location as a full-time Optometrist, committed to enhancing patient vision and hearing through expert care and innovative practices. Key Responsibilities and Opportunities

  • Deliver high-quality eye care services utilizing cutting-edge technology such as OCT scans, HFA-3 visual fields, auto-phoropters, autorefractors, and non-contact tonometry available in every store.
  • Embrace career progression opportunities including leadership roles as Senior Optometrist, mentorship programs, clinical specializations, and community outreach involvement.
  • Participate in the Specsavers Partner Pathway Program, which empowers team members to become store owners, with over 500 members having advanced since 2012.

Work Environment and Patient Demographics

  • Work within a supportive two test-room store alongside two experienced optometrists.
  • Serve a diverse clientele primarily composed of older retirees and families, ensuring comprehensive eye health services.

Compensation and Schedule

  • Competitive annual salary package of $130,000 plus superannuation.
  • Full-time roster requiring work on one weekend day per week.
