Role Overview

The company is seeking a motivated and reliable Optometrist and Sales Specialist to bolster its business operations. The selected individual will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction is upheld. The primary objective of this role is to meet and exceed business goals, supporting rapid and enduring company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and collect detailed information regarding their main complaint as well as their medical history.
• Provide thorough counselling on refractive conditions diagnosed and advise on the most effective refractive solutions.
• Assist customers in choosing frames, lenses, and other eyewear best suited for their diagnosed needs.
• Conduct quality control checks before and after fitting lenses to certify compliance with quality standards.
• Instruct customers in the correct use of contact lenses, specialized lenses, and disposables to ensure proper handling and care.
• Re-examine customers reporting issues with prescribed products and offer alternative recommendations or solutions where necessary.
• Actively promote sales of contact lenses, powered sunglasses, and other related products by tailoring recommendations to customer needs.
• Inform customers about benefits, current promotions, and offers to enhance sales conversion rates.
• Compile and submit regular management information system reports including sales of contact lenses, powered sunglasses, progressive lenses, and quality control data as required.
• Maintain all related equipment according to standards to ensure accurate operation and prolong equipment lifespan.
• Promptly notify supervisors of any equipment malfunctions to reduce downtime and avoid service interruptions.
