Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Optical Dispenser who will play an essential role in delivering excellent patient experiences. Working collaboratively with optometrists and practice teams, you will assist patients in choosing the most suitable frames and lenses tailored to their needs and daily lives. Your role includes providing exceptional customer support and product guidance, ensuring smooth patient flow, handling minor frame alterations and repairs, executing sales and administrative duties with accuracy, and maintaining an inviting retail presentation. You will also contribute to fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere for patients and staff alike.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will either have prior experience in optical roles or be motivated to develop their career in eye care. We seek individuals eager to provide top-tier customer service and eye health support, passionate about working in a community-focused setting across our practices located in Leopold, Geelong, and Waurn Ponds.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, retail, or healthcare environments is preferred.
- Strong communication skills paired with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational capabilities.
- Comfortable with computer systems and administrative processes.
- Genuine enthusiasm for eye health and patient care.
- A positive outlook, teamwork spirit, and eagerness to learn.
Desirable Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or an equivalent qualification is advantageous.
- Prior experience within an optical practice is beneficial.
- Familiarity with frames, lenses, and optical products enhances candidacy.
