Role Overview

An OPT Recruiter plays a vital role in hiring international students on Optional Practical Training (OPT) visas for employment opportunities in the United States. This position involves identifying talent, evaluating candidates, aligning them with appropriate roles, managing ongoing relationships, and ensuring adherence to visa and labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Source potential OPT candidates through multiple channels including social media, professional networks, and databases.
• Assess resumes and applications to shortlist candidates fitting the job criteria.
• Conduct interviews via phone, video, or face-to-face to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural compatibility.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job needs and position candidates accordingly.
• Cultivate and maintain strong connections with candidates and employers to foster positive recruitment experiences.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with OPT visa regulations and U.S. labor laws involving candidates and employers.
• Manage the recruitment workflow from initial sourcing through onboarding to ensure seamless process execution.
• Guide candidates in resume development, interview preparation, and other job search activities.
• Stay informed on labor market trends, industry standards, and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
