Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Ophthalmologist to join a healthcare organization in Doha, Qatar. The role requires expertise in a range of clinical and surgical procedures and offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
Key Clinical and Surgical Responsibilities
- Perform refraction and squint correction treatments.
- Conduct cataract surgeries including intraocular lens (IOL) implantation.
- Manage glaucoma and retinal conditions.
- Carry out corneal procedures such as Cross-Linking and Descemet's Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK).
- Execute refractive surgeries including LASIK, Photorefractive Keratectomy (PRK), Small Incision Lenticule Extraction (SMILE), and Femtosecond laser techniques.
Mandatory Requirements
- Full eligibility for licensing by the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) in Qatar.
- Compatibility with DataFlow verification processes.
- A surgical and clinical logbook documenting relevant cases over the last three years.
- Relevant clinical and surgical experience in ophthalmology.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Doha, Qatar.
Compensation
The monthly salary ranges from QAR 40,000 to QAR 60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
