Role Overview

This opportunity is for a full-time Dermatologist position located in Doha, Qatar where the candidate will deliver both medical and cosmetic dermatology services. Key duties involve diagnosing and managing various skin, hair, and nail ailments and overseeing both acute and chronic dermatological conditions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and detailed physical examinations.
• Order and review diagnostic tests to guide treatment.
• Create customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Perform dermatologic and cosmetic procedures with professional skill.
• Provide counseling on skin care and preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records of patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Uphold patient safety standards and comply with regulatory and ethical regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid grounding in general medicine and dermatology with proven diagnostic and management capabilities across a wide range of skin conditions.
• Experience in aesthetic dermatology including the performance of cosmetic procedures and counseling on treatment options.
• Specialized knowledge in managing acne and related disorders using evidence-based practices.
• A recognized medical degree and completed accredited dermatology residency or equivalent training qualification.
• Valid medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Qatar for practicing dermatology.
• Patient-centered approach combined with sound clinical judgment and commitment to ethical practice.
• Strong communication abilities and aptitude for teamwork within a multi-disciplinary healthcare setting.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is beneficial but not mandatory.
