Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position involves operating manufacturing machinery and managing daily production related to industrial explosives. Operators will follow predefined protocols to ensure safety and quality, conduct routine inspections, maintain cleanliness, and assist with preventive maintenance tasks. Accurate documentation and adherence to safety requirements, including correct use of protective gear, are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial machinery and equipment as per established procedures.
- Monitor production processes and perform regular inspections.
- Report any irregularities or problems to supervisors promptly.
- Manage materials carefully and maintain a clean workspace.
- Assist with basic preventive maintenance when needed.
- Comply strictly with safety guidelines and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain accurate production and quality control records.
Qualifications and Skills
- Competence in handling basic industrial machinery safely and following standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail in materials handling and data recording.
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices and commitment to compliance.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, perform moderate lifting, and work in a manufacturing setting.
- Effective communication abilities and teamwork orientation.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or related industries preferred.
- Minimum education of high school or equivalent; vocational training in industrial operations is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in designated shifts with the possibility of overtime.
