Operator Gas Station

Overview

We seek a committed and skilled LNG Station Manager / Operations Engineer to manage daily operations, maintenance tasks, regulatory adherence, and safety protocols at our Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Retail Outlet. This role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime, maintaining statutory compliance, overseeing LNG unloading and dispensing, and promoting Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily functions at the LNG Retail Outlet, including safe unloading from cryogenic tankers and dispensing LNG to commercial vehicles.
• Perform daily reconciliation of LNG inventory data, dispenser meters, and transaction records to ensure accuracy.
• Carry out both corrective and preventive maintenance on cryogenic equipment, pumps, dispensers, and related machinery.
• Regularly observe and document critical operational parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and liquid levels to maintain smooth and safe plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and local safety guidelines, including PESO requirements.
• Lead HSE initiatives by conducting safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with government and local agencies for inspections and compliance reporting.

• Maintain high operational uptime and reliability of LNG dispensing and plant machinery.
• Achieve zero incidents in health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Ensure precise daily inventory reconciliation with no discrepancies.
• Comply fully with statutory and regulatory deadlines and standards.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with cryogenic systems, LNG/LPG/CNG retail stations, or industrial gas facilities.
• Proficient in LNG operations, cryogenic equipment maintenance, statutory compliance (PESO), inventory management, HSE protocols, and troubleshooting.
