Job Summary

We seek a responsible and competent LNG Station Manager or Operations Engineer to manage daily operations, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and safety standards at a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Retail Outlet (RO). The candidate will ensure optimal equipment uptime, enforce statutory regulations, coordinate smooth LNG unloading and dispensing, and uphold rigorous Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily functioning of the LNG Retail Outlet, including safe unloading of LNG from cryogenic tankers and dispensing into commercial vehicles.
• Perform daily reconciliation of LNG inventory levels, dispenser meter readings, and sales data to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance on cryogenic machinery, pumps, dispensers, and supporting plant equipment.
• Continuously monitor critical parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rates, and liquid levels in the LNG storage tanks and related equipment.
• Enforce compliance with statutory rules, regulations, and local authority mandates, including PESO requirements and relevant safety norms.
• Lead HSE programs through regular safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate inspection and compliance reporting with regulatory agencies and local authorities.

Performance Metrics

• Maximize uptime and maintain operational reliability of LNG dispensing units and plant equipment.
• Maintain a zero-incident record concerning HSE and environmental safety protocols.
• Ensure daily LNG inventory reconciliations are accurate with no discrepancies.
• Achieve full compliance with statutory and regulatory deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in managing cryogenic systems, LNG/LPG/CNG retail outlets, or industrial gas handling environments.
