Job Overview

This role involves automating production operations and ensuring smooth monitoring of the Agency’s IT systems on a daily basis.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive continuous service improvements to enhance data centre operational stability, stakeholder satisfaction, and overall service quality.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities within production workflows to reduce manual tasks and increase efficiency.
• Promptly escalate major incidents, manage the escalation hierarchy, lead and facilitate investigations, and oversee resolution efforts.
• Take ownership of incident resolution by providing workarounds or permanent fixes.
• Troubleshoot system and network connectivity issues prior to escalation.
• Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators to ensure operational targets are consistently met.
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance within production environments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Strong analytical capabilities to assess production processes and identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
• Deep technical knowledge of production system challenges and the ability to implement effective solutions for operational efficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving skills geared towards resolving production issues and improving workflows.
• Experience working in data centre facilities, familiar with environmental controls like temperature and humidity monitoring, smoke detection, fire suppression, UPS units, CCTV, and keypress systems.
• Knowledge of AWS monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and CloudTrail is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts as per the established schedule.

Shift and Schedule Details

• Shifts:
• 1st shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 2nd shift: 2:45 PM to 10:30 PM
• 3rd shift: 10:15 PM to 7:15 AM
• 8-day rotation pattern:
• Two days on 1st shift
• Two days on 2nd shift
• Two days on 3rd shift
• Two days off
