About The Role

Join our operations team where Operations Support Agents play a crucial role in managing freight and ensuring that all shipments pass through our depots smoothly and carefully to uphold our service commitments. The role involves collaborating with our team of operational handlers on site who coordinate a substantial volume of freight daily, helping our customers fulfill their delivery needs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and move consignments within the depot promptly
• Label each consignment accurately to facilitate an effective routing process
• Sort consignments to their appropriate delivery zones
• Collaborate with team members to guarantee quick turnaround times
• Role is based at Eagle Farm, postcode 4009
• Full-time shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Required Experience and Skills

• Prior experience in warehouse operations is preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Commitment to safety standards
• Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Comfortable using computers
• Experience with administrative tasks is highly advantageous
