Operations Manager

About the Role

Snoonu, a growing leader in Qatar's real-time mobility and on-demand services, seeks a seasoned Operations Manager to establish robust operational frameworks ensuring reliability, efficiency, and customer confidence. This role is pivotal in translating business needs into smooth operations across dispatch, routing, fleet and supply coordination, and active service management, guaranteeing readiness and performance as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily mobility operations including dispatch, trip execution, routing efficiency, and live monitoring of service performance.
• Oversee driver and fleet management tasks such as readiness, availability, onboarding, and performance to maintain consistent coverage.
• Optimize real-time matching of demand and supply considering zones, timing, and peak periods.
• Take ownership of key mobility performance indicators like pickup times, trip completions, cancellations, ETA precision, and resource utilization.
• Plan geo-operations by analyzing demand trends and ensuring effective driver positioning and coverage.
• Handle live operational challenges including trip failures, delays, driver absences, and system interruptions.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures covering trip management, driver conduct, dispatch protocols, and anomaly handling.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Data, and Commercial teams to synchronize systems and operations.
• Continuously analyze operational data to find and address inefficiencies, boosting reliability and speed.

Candidate Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in operations, particularly within mobility, ride-hailing, logistics, or real-time dispatch settings.
• Practical experience managing driver and fleet operations or supply-side resources.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dispatch technologies, routing, GPS-based services, or real-time service platforms.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure where rapid decision-making and execution are essential.
• Strong analytical proficiency, leveraging live operational data for informed decision-making.
• Experience in Qatar or Gulf Cooperation Council mobility/logistics markets is advantageous.
