Operations Manager

Role Summary

The selected candidate will take the lead in ensuring that building contracts are secured and completed within deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards, all while maximizing client satisfaction. Collaboration with Project Managers and commercial teams is required to regularly produce cost and value reconciliations. The candidate will also ensure all contract requirements are fulfilled, services provided efficiently, and all risks identified and controlled.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contracts and negotiate terms, alongside planning project execution.
• Comprehend performance targets fully and identify as well as manage potential risks and opportunities.
• Define project goals including scope, budgets, schedules, performance criteria, and selection of subcontractors.
• Create procurement timetables and coordinate with on-site Project Managers and commercial teams to meet supply and specialized requirements with clear deadlines.
• Develop and implement strategic project plans; analyze progress reports to initiate early corrective measures.
• Represent the company at site meetings as necessary.
• Maintain precise records throughout project construction phases.
• Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with company policies and practices.
• Direct project handover with an emphasis on defect-free completion.
• Enforce a strong protocol for defect resolution and obtain necessary certifications.
• Expand project management and installation capabilities across the Kingdom's regions.
• Uphold superior health, safety, and environmental management standards.
• Monitor methods and outputs to achieve required quality at minimal costs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Develop and manage supply chain partnerships.
• Supervise construction sites and oversee vendor and trades management.
• Optimize organizational methods to enhance efficiency.
• Maximize resource utilization including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Lead and motivate the project delivery team to maintain workload balance.
• Recruit, reward, retain, and foster development of top talent.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proven success leading multiple projects with deliveries surpassing client expectations.
• Strong expertise in managing costs, timelines, and quality against established objectives.
• Capability to address site-based technical, operational, and contractual challenges.
• In-depth knowledge of the Fit-Out industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities suitable for a multinational market.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams, supply chains, direct employees, and consultants.
